A positive operating result is the most socially responsible of all responsibilities. This is the only way to secure jobs at the Hotel Krone in Tübingen in the long term and keep the company competitive.
Employees:
A positive working atmosphere is our top priority. You can only be a good host if you enjoy your work and put your heart and soul into it. In order to meet the ever-increasing expectations, we undergo regular and targeted training at the LUDWIGs Academy. We categorically reject the outsourcing of services to external companies.
Guests:
True to the motto ‘we are ladies and gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen’, we treat our guests as equals. Our priority is always to listen to our guests' wishes and fulfil their requests in the best possible way.

Reusable cup system for coffee to go, we no longer use disposable cups - Electricity
We use green electricity in our sockets and have switched to LED lighting - Heating
We use district heating from the regional provider, Tübinger Stadtwerke - Waste
We work hard to avoid unnecessary waste. Organic waste is converted into environmentally friendly energy with the company Refood - CO2 Foodprint
Our guests have the option to stay climate-neutral - E-fuelling station
We offer our guests travelling with electric vehicles a climate-neutral charging station - Cooperation with regional art, sports and cultural organisations: d.a.i., Zimmertheater, Landestheater Tübingen LTT, TSG Tübingen sports club, Tigers Tübingen/SV03 sports club, Jazz im Prinz Karl, Sudhaus socio-cultural centre
- Support for social projects: Charity event ‘A hospice for Tübingen’, Christmas party "Women help women"
- Green option: our guests can support us in our actions and voluntarily forego room cleaning
